In
all aspects of exercise, whether you are a professional
athlete, or an everyday person who just wants
to be the best they can be, having the right trainer
or coach is extremely important. Through almost
30 years of training experience, being an athlete
and competitive bodybuilder, I have found that
by combining those training methods and applying
them to my clients, the athlete is bigger, stronger,
faster, leaner and more agile. The average person
is stronger, leaner, and healthier and has a higher
self-esteem. Kids are stronger and faster and
have a higher self-esteem as well as their motor
skills and balance is improved.
We
take a basic, common-sense approach to exercise.
We teach the basic fundamentals of exercise while
at the same time reducing the chance of injury
by doing the following:
·
Teach proper exercise mechanics.
·
Train athletes to higher levels of competitiveness
by training the muscle while training the movement.
·
Train joint integrity (strength) before joint
mobility to prevent injury.
·
Train for speed before speed endurance.
·
Beginners should begin with mostly bodyweight
and functional exercises.
·
Adolescents should start with bodyweight exercises
only.
·
Nutrition should be tailored for specific needs
per each individual and use commonsense when making
food choices and most of all, NO FAD DIETS! |
